We’re halfway through the year and that means it’s time to look back and reflect on the past six months and from what we can see, it’s been an excellent six months for Australian music.

We’ve seen some eagerly anticipated releases from big-name local artists, notable smaller releases from indie bands, and a few that took us absolutely by surprise.

So in the interests of making sure you didn’t miss anything in these busy times of ours, we’ve gone ahead and put together a list of some of our favourite albums of 2016 so far.
