Canada’s Silverstein are heading back to Australia this April for a run of shows in support of their seventh studio album This Is How The Wind Shifts. With the tour just a few short weeks away, the supports for this tour have been announced for each show in each city.
Formed in 2000 in Burlington, Ontario Silverstein has become as close to a household name as you can get in the post-hardcore scene. Having played more than 1500 shows in 34 countries, Silverstein have been a staple on many festivals and tours. This current tour comes of the band’s successful Rescue tour in Australia last June and their seventh studio album.
The supporting line-ups for these current Australian shows represent some of the best in local, post-hardcore acts. The tour kicks off in Adelaide with A Ghost Orchestra and Seconds Before Sunrise supporting at Fowlers. Belle Haven and Who Invited The Wolf will get the night underway at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne, while Caulfield and Ghost On Broadway will join the bill at Manning Bar in Sydney.
As the tour heads north to the Cambridge in Newcastle Taken By Force, Rivalries and We, The Betrayed will kick the night off, and then in Brisbane at The Hifi, Deadlights and Sunsets will jump on board for a massive show. The momentum continues across to the west to Perth, when Still Water Claims and Make Believe Me take their turns at warming up the stage for the headline act.
