Melbourne audiovisual duo Friendships (aka Nic Brown and Misha Grace) have shared their first new single in six months, and they’ve returned in ferocious form.

‘When I Feel Like Killing, I Murder’ marks the first release from the pair’s freshly-inked deal with New York label Mermaid Avenue – an imprint of Mom + Pop – and it’s an exciting glimpse of what’s to come.

The new track is a high-energy banger that throbs with a raw, primal pulse. It manages to capture the intensity of a live Friendships set, exploding in frenzied bursts of dub, jungle and industrial rave. Animalistic and blood-thirsty, it’s four minutes of sheer Dionysian release.

Watch out: Friendships are coming for you in 2015.
