Birds of Tokyo recently stopped by the triple j studios to debut their shimmering new track, ‘I’d Go With You Anywhere’, a cut taken from a forthcoming compilation release, the details of which are set to be revealed by the band over the coming weeks.

The release follows on from the band’s Anchor EP, which nabbed the Perth group their latest in a string of top five national airplay tracks, which includes smash singles like ‘Plans’, ‘Wild At Heart’, ‘This Fire’, and ‘Lanterns’.

It’s an airplay streak unmatched locally since Powderfinger were the biggest thing since sliced bread. This, along with multiple ARIA and APRA awards makes the Ian Kenny-led outfit one of Australia’s biggest contemporary bands.

‘I’d Go With You Anywhere’, which you can check out below, was recorded in LA and mixed back in Sydney with Scott Horscroft (The Presets, Silverchair) and arrives just in time for you to learn all the words and singalong when the band hit up Falls, Southbound, and This That festivals this summer.
