Melbourne’s favourite tropical party starters Mighty Duke & The Lords are today premiering their brand new single ‘The Flamingo’ and in typical Mighty Duke & The Lords fashion is ridiculously infectious.

Recorded with Pikkle Henning (Puta Madre Brothers) and mixed by Gus Franklin (Architecture In Helsinki, Rainbow Connection DJ’s), ‘The Flamingo’ features trademark sweltering horn-lines and equatorial junk beats. Having already brought regular audiences’ feet to a fevered and feathered frenzy, this new dance craze is sure to get your plumage fluffed. The Melbourne shuffle just got feathered.

Having been recently announced for this year’s Meredith Music Festival, and now following the release of this new single these guys are your ‘go to’ feel-good party band for this coming summer.

Get familiar with ‘The Flamingo’ below ahead of the single launch this Friday, and if you like what you’re hearing pop by the band’s Facebook page for more info on upcoming shows.
