Die Antwoord recently unveiled the details of their ridiculous new album and now they’ve been announced as one of the headliners for the upcoming Origin NYE festival in Perth.
The performance will be an Australian festival exclusive, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still hold on to hope for some sideshows being announced in the not too distant future.
Originally titled Rats Rule, and then We Have Candy, Die Antwoord’s new album is now titled Mt Ninji And Da Nice Time Kid. Much better than the previous ones, obviously.
The tracklist contains a few typically-Die Antwoord nuggets such as ‘U Like Boobies?’, ‘Fat Faded F**k Face’, and ‘Wings On My Penis’, because of course it does. It also features a cameo from Jack Black.
Meanwhile, Origin NYE is set to kick off on New Year’s Eve with a lineup that also features the likes of Chance the Rapper, Chase & Status, Jme, Noisia, What So Not, and many more.
