One of this year’s most anticipated releases, Wally De Backer AKA Gotye’s Making Mirrors has made for a hugely successful album tour as well. After numerous sold out shows – including London, Holland and Germany where Wally is currently performing, you guessed it, sold out shows, he has now announced a third and final date in Western Australia for December. Rising Melbourne outfit Husky will be the support on all three Perth dates.
Prior to playing Perth, Gotye will hopefully be swinging by the ARIA Awards where he is up for seven gongs for his 6 x Platinum single ‘Somebody That I Used to Know (Feat. Kimbra)’. He’s already won the ARIA in the three Artisan Award categories (Best Video, Engineer of The Year and Producer of the Year). Making Mirrors, the album from which ‘Somebody’ was lifted has achieved Double Platinum states.
Tickets for the third Perth show will go on sale this Friday.
