A Ed Sheeran Australian tour 2012 has been announced that will see the songwriter bring his unique amalgamation of acoustic music, folk and hip hop beats downunder for headline shows in July & August 2012.
Since dropping out of school at the age of 16, Sheeran has gigged persistently. In 2009 alone, he performed an incredible 312 gigs throughout the UK and Ireland.
This perseverance and determination also translates into Sheeran’s prolific songwriting. The industrious songwriter wrote his first EP at the ripe age of 14 with more following before the release of his debut studio album, + (out now through Warner).
Released in 2011, + propelled Sheeran to the eyes and ears of the mainstream who fell in love with the performer’s soulful voice and innate ability to write from the heart.
