Texture Like Sun head to Sydney for the first time playing The FBi Social on the 4th of August 2012 w/ Phebe Starr & Bears With Guns. After the success of ‘Bottle’ on Triple J, FBi (Sydney), PBS (Melb) and community radio across the country, Texture Like Sun are about to announce the release of their debut EP to much industry hype and anticipation. The band have been leaving an amazing impression on audiences in Melbourne throughout 2012 and have garnered some amazing reviews.

The first track to be taken from Texture Like Sun’s forthcoming EP, due in 2012, ‘Bottle’ has been a long time coming. Recorded over the course of a year in both Darwin and Melbourne, ‘Bottle’ was produced by Countbounce (Sparkadia, Ash Grunwald & TZU) & mixed by Dan Rejmer (Bjork, Foals, & The Whitlams).

Joining Texture Like Sun for the evening are Sydney natives Phebe Starr & Bears With Guns.
