Melbourne four piece, Sleep Decade present a blend of dream pop and shoegaze though delicate arrangements and mature atmospherics. Brothers Casey & Monty Hartnett with Thom Plant and Tom Milek have spent much of the last year playing alongside bands like Pikelet, Richard In Your Mind, Love Connection and Francolin, and recording their debut album, Into Spinning Lights.
The album, set to be released late October this year, was recorded with the worlds friendliest producer, Nick Huggins (Kid Sam, Mick Turner, Oscar + Martin, Fraser A. Gorman) at A Pocket Full Of Stones studio in Point Lonsdale in between eating tim tams, surfing glennies and kicking the footy.
The first single, Bicycle explores the moment when hopelessness and longing is overturned by a strong connection with another human being. It’s about falling in love and those simple, honest and direct moments shared with each other.
