Will And The People are a collective of people who have decided to play and make music together forever.
They love playing main stages at festivals, living rooms, sweaty packed pubs and clubs at 3am, in tents, fast cars, slow cars, and on boats and in the morning sun with a bloody mary. Together they write songs and play reggae, pop, grunge, ska and house, 4 to the floor!
Their second album Friends in our now and was recorded in their barn in Berkshire, UK. After filling the 17th Century barn with an array of hired outboard studio equipment the whole album was recorded in only a week.
The 12 track album, takes you from knees-up ska (‘Holiday’) to the sexy chilled reggae love of ‘Sensimilla’, to a more psychedelic and progressive sound seen in title track ‘Friends’, ‘Masterpiece’ and the ever so eccentric ‘Dreamer’.
Will and The People are heading our way for an extended stay in Oz for their own tour and to play at Peats Ridge Festival and Woodford Festoval over new years.
