Tales in Space cook up tasty electro clash flavours and marinate in traditional guitar spices.
The Sydney two piece write and play using a blend of electronic colours with cutouts of random music images of day to day life.
‘Shades’ is the first single from the their full length album debut. It’s an emotional black and white song with dark verses followed by hopeful and hooky uplifting choruses infused with sparse synth lines! Tales in Space write, record and mix all their own stuff.
After their buzzing soft release ‘Starwars’ which enjoyed high rotation on FBI and for which their video received a SMAC nomination for Best on Screen, community radio support nationally and a dash of Triple J play, TiS have been whipping up remixes for notable acts such as Hungry Kids of Hungary, Dappled Cities, Little Fox and Expatriate. And finishing this record!! Which is an absolute indie electro gem!
Previously the band has feature on two Ministry of Sound compilations with their talked about covers of Fleet Foxes ‘White Winter Hymnal’ and Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’.
The single released features remixes from The Khanz and Dappled Cities.
To support the release of ‘Shades’ they will be touring nationally!
