The Elizabeth Rose Australian Tour 2013 has been announced in support of the exciting new single from the Sydney musician.

Following hot off the heels of winning the Qantas 2013 Spirit Of Youth Awards (SOYA) and an electrifying series of performances at BIGSOUND, Elizabeth Rose continues to storm the Australian music scene with her captivating new single ‘The Good Life’, which was recently named the most played track on Triple J.

Elizabeth Rose will head overseas for the first time this month to perform and string of showcases at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York before bringing her new single to venues across Australia as she launches ‘The Good Life Tour’ around the country this November.

Rose will bring her new band member into the fold to add to her already reputable and intense live performances. Elizabeth Rose’s live show will debut a variety of new songs and arrangements from her EP set for release in early 2014.

The video for ‘The Good Life’ has also been released. It was shot in Brisbane and Byron Bay by director Liam Connor of PixelFrame, a Tropfest 2013 Finalist. Drawing on Rose’s lyrics for inspiration, Connor paints a picture of escapism and the need to seek out one’s own ‘Good Life’.

Joining Elizabeth Rose as special guest on her November tour is Charles Murdoch, the Brisbane based electronic producer who – along with Elizabeth Rose – was name-checked by Sydney super-producer Flume in his list of artists developing the “Australian Sound” that’s conquering the world.

Come and hear the ‘Aussie sound’ for yourself this November.
