The Born Ruffians Australian Tour has been announced with the Canadian indie rock trio returning Down Under for a series of exclusive headline shows in December and January.
It’s been three years since Born Ruffian last graced our shores, and now Chugg Entertainment and Laneway Festival Presents can now proudly confirm they’ll be bringing the band and their infectious live show back to Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on Monday 30th December and Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on Friday 3rd January.
On their third tour of Australia, Born Ruffians are now touring as a four-piece, bringing with them new material from their April 2013 release, Birthmarks, which gained further critical acclaim for the group following 2010’s Say It and 2008 debut album, Red, Yellow, & Blue.
Recorded in Toronto’s BoomBox Studios, the deeply personal Birthmarks saw the three-piece cultivate a more polished sound, whilst not departing from the rawness that originally defined them.
Featuring Luke LaLonde (vocals/guitar), Mitch DeRosier (bass/vocals), Andy Lloyd (guitar/keys) and Adam Hindle (drums), Born Ruffians make a whole lot of noise, touting a jaunty mix of howling vocals, jagged guitar, punching bass and infectious drum beats. Drawing from their impressive catalogue to deliver an impressively memorable live experience.
Don’t miss out!
