It’s back and bigger and better than ever so get ready to swap your dancing shoes for skates and get down at the Red Bull Music Academy Rooftop Roller Disco on Saturday 23rd November. Paying homage to the disco days of the 70s, the old school meets new school party will see the rooftop of Wilson Car Park in Chinatown, Brisbane transformed into a 70s inspired roller wonderland with tunes from local and international DJs.
Part of the Valley Fiesta 2013, the free event will feature a fully functional skate rink (including free skate hire), licensed bars and a crowd of funk and disco lovers ready to party the night away on one of Brisbane‘s most iconic rooftops.
International talent Kon – who’s been spinning in clubs across the US for more than 20 years – will join the likes of, Alex Dimitriades (aka The Monster) , Cutloose and Matt Lapish, offering up a night of retro beats mixed with the smooth sounds of disco and funk.
70s inspired costumes (yes, including flares), pumping music and roller skates mean this is going to be a party not to miss.
