The Sinking Teeth have been working their way into the hearts and earholes of post-punk lovers for a little while now, but in the background they’ve been sinking their teeth into their high-energy, riff riddled debut EP White Water.
Having snagged recent support spots with names like Calling All Cars, Shihad and Bodyjar, The Sinking Teeth are now ready to steal the spotlight and bring their notorious live show to their hometown of Melbourne. From the leaky roofed Brunswick pawn shop they used to rehearse in, the guys are set to have a change in scenery and will launch White Water at Ding Dong Lounge on the 6th of December.
Current single ‘Temporary Living’ has gained justified acclaim along with their live show which Dom Alessio from triple j describes as “loud and hard with a hearty dose of melody thrown in for good measure”. Melbournites would be crazy not to pen this one into their diaries.
Supporting is Damn Terran, whose debut album is currently the feature album on FasterLouder, and recent Hobbledehoy Record Co signing, Ceres.
