Oh boy, are we excited at Tone Deaf! It’s time to bust out the tights, native American shaman gear and the scissor kicks because one of our favourite bands, 80s goth/metal rockers The Cult are to tour Australia for the first time in yonks.
They’re going to be playing seminal 1985 album Love, which features one of the best singles of all time, She Sells Sanctuary, in an Australian tour this May. The Love album represents the band at their artistic – if slightly daft – peak, before they embraced highly successful but boring stadium cock rock in the late 80s.
