LCD Soundsystem have beaten the volcano! With many artists stranded on either side of the Atlantic due to the continued grounding of planes as a result of the Icelandic volcanic eruption, James Murphy and co have managed to make it to Europe from New York. After having to cancel their Dublin shows due to the fine ash cloud spreading over Europe, they managed to get on a flight to Spain which remains unaffected by the cloud. From there they face an epic drive and ferry trip to make it to London. The band announced on Twitter: “Made it to Europe… Spain…Now we drive to London. So bummed to cancel Dublin.”
