Less than one week after a packed out breakthrough showcase at BIGSOUND 2014 that set the conference buzzing, Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders announce their first club shows in over three years this November.
The band will launch their fourth album ‘Playmates’ in Melbourne at Northcote Social Club on Friday 7th November; and in Sydney at Newtown Social Club on Thursday 13th November.
Despite being one of the last sets of the most hectic BIGSOUND to date, the Black Bear Lodge was rammed (with many disappointed to be turned away) with people eager to hear the first airing of songs from ‘Playmates’.
Alongside the likes of D.D Dumbo, DMA’s and Steve Smyth, the performance was one of the most talked about as the festival wrapped the following day. At the 20 Questions panel on the Friday, four out of the six panellists (made up of key US and UK labels, booking agents and festival programmers) picked Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders as a personal highlight of BIGSOUND.
