Barely 18 months old, this band are creating a deafening buzz in the United Kingdom and America with their debut album and a string of sold out shows. Taking a palette of ‘60s jangle rock and sprinkling it with 80s indie pop sounds recalling The Smiths and Orange Juice, the band’s debut album The Drums is laden with catchy pop hooks. From Let’s Go Surfing to Best Friend, this is insanely addictive indie pop. Coming out to Australia for Splendour In the Grass, they’re also playing two tiny club shows. Melbourne has sold out, but there are a handful of Sydney tickets left here
