Perth grunge trio FOAM are today premiering their brand new single ‘You Look Nothing Like Your Picture, But I Like You Still’ taken from their upcoming third EP The Feeling Is Mutual – set for release March 27th.

Clocking in at just over two tight minutes ‘You Look Nothing Like Your Picture, But I Like You Still’ follows on from the band’s killer 2013 EP Run Kon Koma.

In 2014, FOAM released the single ‘All My Friends’ then hit the road for a national tour supporting DZ Deathrays. Their heavy live performances deliver a filthy wall of sound reminiscent of the alternative rock boom of the late 80s and early 90s.

With influences including Nirvana, Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, The Breeders, The Drones and anything Steve Albini, FOAM tread the line between infectious melody and vicious punk. If you like what you hear be sure to visit the band’s Facebook page and stay tuned for the EP release. For all our Perth lcoals, the band will be launching The Feeling Is Mutual on March 27th at The Bakery info on their Facebook event.
