One of Melbourne’s most exciting soft punk/tough pop quintet Rolling Blackouts are today unveiling the brand new video for their killer single ‘Wide Eyes’. Singer/guitarist Fran Keaney explains the story behind the track: “It’s a cross-country love song – about getting out of town, being somewhere else, fast. We recorded it late summer, live, at a place on Sydney Road: Gateway to the Hume.”
Since forming in 2014 the guys have been working tirelessly carving a place for themselves within the local garage rock scene with their angular tunes and unique take on golden era Australian indie rock.
‘Wide Eyes’ is the freshest cut from the band’s upcoming EP Talk Tight (out via Ivy League Oct 23rd) – to celebrate they’ll belaying a handful of shows alongside US buzz band Bully this December. For more inf on the band visit their Facebook page.
