Local indie rock two piece Beloved Elk are today unveiling the the video for their stunning single ‘Made out of Glue’. The track was crafted over the course of two years – each verse written six months apart. A follow on from their 2013 EP Peace Offering ‘Made out of Glue’ is “a child-like song about maturing in a relationship and learning how to listen”.
Amy, the duo’s vocalist/ guitarist explains the story behind the video: “It’s a homely and personal look at our close relationship as we toy with the prospects of getting older together- painting wrinkles, rubbing them out and acting up. It was produced by fellow Melbourne band and total video wiz-kids Dear Plastic, and it was filmed within a tiny home and studio that Tina (drummer of Beloved Elk) and myself hand built during the last summer”.
