This year’s Kerrang awards have been dominated by Bullet for My Valentine, who received a gong for Best British Band and another for Best Live Band. They beat Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars, Paramore and Green day in the aforementioned categories.
But it wasn’t all over for Paramore, who were honoured with Best Album, and 30 Seconds to Mars walked away with Best International Band.
Other winners included You Me At Six for Best Single, Rise to Remain for Best British Newcomer and Trash Talk for Best International Newcomer.
The late Ronnie James Dio was awarded the special Icon Award, and Motley Crue were inducted into the Kerrang Hall of Fame.
