Festival favourites The Dirty Three are set to headline this year’s 20th Anniversary Meredith Festival. The band have played the festival three times before, including their now legendary set in 2004 in which they took the stage as a storm of biblical proportions raged around them, with many fearing the stage would be electrocuted. The lived to tell the tale and are back for the festival this year. Now that they’re confirmed, we down here at Tone Deaf HQ are wondering if Warren Ellis’ other band, Grinderman, which finish their US tour on the first of December, might also be on the line up?
