Taking inspiration from The Clash’s ‘Complete Control’ ideology, You Am I have left UK major label EMI, in order to release their new self-titled record, which is due out on Sydney label Other Tongues/MGM on the 8th of October.
It was produced by ARIA Award-winning engineer Greg Wales and mixed by James Cadsky over various sessions at various studios. The record was is said to be You Am I’s most sonically adventurous, well-woven and expressive record to date.
