Back in October last year we fell in love with Melbourne solo artist Ryan Downey and his stunning a cappella single ‘Tidings’. He’s now back with a brand new single, which is actually a fresh take on an Enya classic ‘Only Time’.

Ryan’s exploration in a cappella stems from a broken arm left Ryan unable to play any instruments, halting his plans to begin work on a full length album. What seemed like a setback actually became a fascinating evolution in Downey’s career.

During his two months recovery, he indulged a fleeting idea he’d had in the past; of creating a completely a cappella record of songs by female songwriter, titled Me & Her the mini LP will be out in March.

Check out the impressive effort below and if you like what you’re hearing pop by Ryan’s Facebook page for more info.
