Hailing from the Mid North Coast of NSW, local dub rock legends Mar Hazeare today unleashing some big news and a brand new single titled ‘You Within’.
Following what appeared to be a recent hiatus, the guys have secretively been working hard behind the scenes; making new music, recruiting a new singer and adjusting its sound to ensure the headway made in 2015 is not lost.
‘You Within’ is the band exploring the psychology of emotions, feelings and thoughts as they travel through the mind.
Old fans may notice a change in vocals, that’s because the band have recruited vocalist and lead guitarist Pat Kelly into the fold. Quickly adapting to Mar Haze’s iconic sound, Kelly has become an integral part of the band’s makeup.
“Collectively we’ve all been working really hard these past few months to create a tight, coherent sound. We have poured so much effort into this new single so we can say it truly reflects our intention; to keep producing high quality music that Mar Haze fans know and love,” Kelly explains.
Following a tumultuous few months Mar Haze are determine to get back on track and continue kicking goals in 2016, it’s safe to say ‘You Within’ is a small taste of what’s to come.
