Frenzal Rhomb boast some of the finest merch ever to come from an Australian band. Everything from their T-shirts to their album covers are emblazoned with the band’s characteristic brand of gross-out punk art.
But until recently, you’ve had to actually go to a Frenzal gig in order to get your hands on the latest and greatest threads coming out of Maison de Frenzal Rhomb. We know what you’re thinking: what’s the issue?
You’re right. There is none, but let’s say you missed out on their last tour or the last tee in your size wandered away with the dude you’d been queuing behind for half an hour or maybe you live overseas, normally you’d have little recourse.
That’s all changed. “So we finally relented to the three people that continually hassle us to make our shit available online,” the band write on Facebook, announcing the launch of their brand new online merch store.
“Now you don’t have to sit through an hour of fat old men jumping around like dickheads to own your own Frenzal shirt/cd/onsie/loofah etc!” All the greatest hits are here, including the band’s recent ‘Pell Awaits’ shirt.
“There’s all kinds of shit there, from the hilarious ‘Pell Awaits’ shirt, to signed cds, to a digital download of Forever Malcolm Young, which never got a release outside of Australia due to Fat Mike thinking it was shit,” the band write.
“The store will be updated often, with new shirt designs, and eventually some vinyl, life size cardboard cut-outs of the band, and a plush toy of the pigworm removed from Jay’s head (for the kids, ya know?), so, don’t be a fucking stranger!”
