After telling fans nationwide to prepare for Hell, modern metal icons Slipknot have finally announced a headline tour of Australia, which is set to kick off this October.
The band’s last album, .5: The Gray Chapter, was a critically hailed addition to the band’s legendary discography and saw the band asserting themselves as the kings of the heavy music game.
The band were in the country somewhat recently (as far as tours go) when they headlined Soundwave 2015, but murmurs about a potential headline tour were sparked earlier this week.
Black and white posters featuring the members of Slipknot were spotted in Melbourne and Sydney, with the posters warning passers-by to ‘Prepare For Hell’, which fans knew could only mean one thing.
