The Coathangers are Australia-bound next month to grace us with their acclaimed new album, Nosebleed Weekend.
Being the first album The Coathangers recorded away from their hometown on Atlanta has certainly broadened their horizon for the bands musical direction, leaving fans in the unknown of what to expect. And boy what a reaction!
The band’s upcoming tour to Australia will kick off at Yours & Owls Festival in Wollongong on Sunday October 2, with a string headline shows along the East Coast to follow, featuring a stack of predominantly female bands on the bills.
Melbourne will see The Coathangers joined by Suss Cunts, Crop Top and Pappy; Sydney will score Bloods and Morning TV; and Brissy nabs Thigh Master, Voiid and Cheers G’day.
Those are some rock-solid lineups for what will definitely be one hell of a tour.
