We’ve always been pretty impressed with what Pond and their frontman Nicholas Allbrook have been able to put together when it comes to their video clips, but they may have outdone themselves with this one, the first single from their newly-announced album The Weather.
‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’ is a joyous, hopeful track that comes complete with a suitably magnificent video clip, featuring all the make up, costumes, slow-motion and Jesus (or is that a cameo from Kev…?) you could possibly ask for, as well as some unashamedly stock photo-esque scenes of office-bound celebration. Love it.
The track is the first we’ve heard of their newly-announced seventh record, due to drop on May 5 via Marathon Artists and up for pre-order now. It’ll be a bit of a wait, but we reckon we can just jam this clip on repeat and be pretty happy with that for now.
