Yes, the Metallica drummer, who was born and raised in Denmark before moving to the States at age 17, has been bestowed with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Dannabrog.
The ceremony occurred late last month, and the honour was awarded him by none other than Margrethe II, the Queen of Denmark. No word on whether she is a Master Of Puppets fan or not.
Sir Lars – it actually sounds quite regal, doesn’t it?
