Scott Weiland’s children compile a playlist and share memories on his 50th birthday

Last Friday would have been Scott Weiland’s 50th birthday.

His children, Noah and Lucy Weiland, have paid tribute to their late father by sharing a number of the songs that remind them of him.

The playlist includes a hefty serving of Scott’s own classics, as well as the likes of ‘Island In The Sun’ by Weezer, ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds’ by The Beatles, and ‘God Only Knows’ by The Beach Boys – the latter of which was “his favourite song of all-time.”

The most heartbreaking entry is ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’ by Green Day, about which Noah writes: “This song is about Billie losing his dad, and even before I lost my dad I always felt connected to it.”
