If you’re ever found sitting alone with an acoustic guitar ready to flex your limited abilities and impress your peers with your knowledge of basic chords, the likelihood of playing either an Oasis or Foo Fighters track is incredibly high.
Responsible for some of humanity’s most cherished singalongs, campfire jams, wedding tracks and graduation anthems, a by-product of the two parties would probably result in something epic.
Now, that wish could become a reality, with Liam Gallagher revealing to NME that the Foo Fighters are keen to collaborate with him.
During the chat, the Oasis singer said that the Foo Fighters “keep texting me, man” and although he’s “too busy” at the moment, he would very much like for the dream-collab to come into fruition one day.
“They wanted to do one tune, but I dunno – I’ll do it one day, but I’m too busy doing this at the moment.”
Other than fronting Oasis and embarking on quite a stellar solo career, Liam Gallagher’s thoughts regarding fellow artists are quite the character definer, however, he seems to have no problems with the globally loved and adored act saying,
“I think Foo Fighters have got good tunes. I think Dave Grohl’s very talented, and so is the band.”
