Groovin The Moo is getting set to kick off in just a matter of days, but one of its international acts has taken to social media to reveal that they may not make it to Australia due to having to undertake some urgent dental work.
While Groovin The Moo already boasts a stellar lineup that includes the likes of Duke Dumont, Portugal. The Man, Royal Blood and much more, English rapper Lady Leshurr took to social media recently to reveal that there’s a slim chance she might not be able to make it over for the festival this year.
“I really can’t spit bars right now,” the grime MC wrote on Twitter on Friday. “Like I realised how worthless I am without my mouth.”
“I just wanna rap & I can’t cus my square jawline keeps getting in the way. Guess I’m gonna have to give everyone else a chance instead.”

Then, responding to a fan’s excited comment on Instagram, Lady Leshurr broke some upsetting news, writing “Don’t mean to burst your bubble but might not even make it to Australia unless my jaw goes back to normal.”
While organisers have been contacted about the situation, neither Groovin The Moo or Lady Leshurr have revealed whether or not she’ll be heading to Australia for the festival and subsequent sideshows.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that the festival has lost an act this year, with organisers revealing a few weeks back that KYLE (Superduperkyle) had to pull out of the festival in order to finish off his upcoming album. However, KYLE’s spot was quickly filled by N.W.A’s DJ Yella, who will be performing with Playboy T at the festival.
Tickets to Groovin The Moo are still on sale now, so be sure to head along to the festival’s website for more info.
UPDATE 23/04/18: Lady Leshurr has taken to social media to confirm that her upcoming shows, and appearances at Groovin The Moo, are set to go ahead as planned.
“Even though my teeth are a myth, I’m a still make it to my tour in Australia,” she wrote on Twitter. “A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.”
