Eminem has been hitting the publicity trail, which seems odd as he hasn’t been involved in any recent scandals and his album Recovery has sold around 3 million copies in the US alone. Hence it was interesting to see him pop up on America’s 60 Minutes over the weekend to shoot the breeze about his writing and recording processes, as well as his soul destroying addiction to errrr … prescription drugs. Marshall Mathers dished the dirt on his addictions to vicodin, valium and ambient, as well as revealing that he’d been rushed to hospital ER after a near fatal overdose, telling the interviewer “[Doctors] said if I got to the hospital two hours later, that would’ve been it,” Eminem says about a near-fatal trip to the ER.’’
