A few weeks ago, Ozzy Osbourne was forced to cancel a slew of American tour dates on account of a Staph infection. The rocker was forced to undergo surgery on his right thumb after it swelled up “the size of a fuckin’ lightbulb”.

Osbourne detailed the experience in a hilarious interview with Rolling Stone, sharing: “I didn’t feel sick, so I was cracking jokes. The doctor said, ‘I don’t know if you realize, Mr. Osbourne, this is a very serious problem you have.’ Sharon said, ‘Would you stop fucking making jokes?’”

Now Osbourne has been given the all-clear on his health. Taking to Twitter to share the good news with fans, The Prince of Darkness shared “My thumb is fully recovered now. I am looking forward to seeing you all this New Year’s Eve… It’s gonna be great. Be there. Can’t wait to see you. I need to rock ‘n’ roll for you!”

What a wholesome video! Ozzy Osbourne is gearing up to make his final trip to Australia next year for the 2019 edition of Download Festival. He is also planning to make up for his cancelled American dates. Check out the full Download lineup below:
