Just under three years sine the release of their explosive sophomore album Conscious Kiwi pop-duo Broods have finally announced the follow up. Don’t Feed The Pop Monster is set for release in February 2019, with the album track “Everything Goes (Wow)” out now.

After the release of Conscious, Broods toured extensively before taking time apart to focus on solo projects. Lead singer Georgia Nott released her critically acclaimed The Venus Project Volume I. Entirely produced, written, and promoted by women, the album was far removed from the synth pop sounds of Broods and a personal test for the singer.
Earlier this year Nott and her brother Caleb returned as Broods, announcing they had signed to Neon Gold Records (outside of AUS/NZ) and dropping the infectious track “Peach”.
Now, the duo are set to release the new LP via Island Records Australia.

“We can’t wait to share this album with our fans and the world. We wanted to make songs that are true to us and without hiding behind any kind of façade.” Georgia says, “We made a point of just completely trusting ourselves and each other and we’re so ready for everyone to hear the album.”
On the new track, Nott explains “We wrote ‘Everything Goes (Wow)’ in a tree house in Nicaragua. We were there as part of a writing camp and it was one of the best experiences of our careers. It’s about accepting the mortality of everything and finding peace in that.”
Broods recently made their return to the live stage, supporting Taylor Swift on her Australian and New Zealand dates alongside Charli XCX. Don’t Feed The Pop Monster is out February 1st 2019, check out the video for “Peach” below.
