Nothing complements a serving of buffalo wings quite like a delicious side of pop-punk nostalgia. It was only a matter of time before Blink-182’s seminal 1997 record Dude Ranch found itself sharing a name with a condiment. One student-run company from UCLA have unveiled a vegan ranch salad dressing that honours Blink-182’s breakthrough record.

Dude Ranch Dressing will make its debut at a release party on the 17th of January.

Co-founder, Megan Hullander has detailed the conception of the dressing in an interview with The Daily Bruin, sharing “We tried to make it as Earth-friendly as possible and as healthy as we possibly could, and get all the ingredients while still maintaining the taste. We started out making recipes that we found, and then just replaced ingredients to use ones that were either more sustainable, or added things we thought would be good for flavour.”

Whilst Blink-182’s early lyrics are the last thing I want to be thinking about whilst consuming a creamy, white dressing, power to these students for creating something none of us were brave enough to attempt.
