Oxford University might be one of the oldest universities in the world, but the town it is situated in of the same name has punched well above its weight over the last 20 years, producing bands such as Radiohead, Ride, Swervedriver, Talulah Gosh, Supergrass and latterly, Foals.
An indie documentary about the scene, entitled Anyone Can Play Guitar after the Radiohead song is nearing completion, but the film makers are looking for £10,000 to get the sound mixed and the colour graded to complete the film.
They’re asking fans to donate as little as $30 to not only get a copy of the DVD, but also to have their name included in the credits. You can become an executive producer for $800. They’re only $1,500 off their target – check out the film’s trailer here:
