East London luminaries Rudimental have been forced to reschedule their upcoming Aussie tour, pushing the shows back by a few months.
Back in October, it was revealed that Rudimental were heading back to Australia for a headline tour this February.
Having played a DJ set at the Snowtunes festival in Jindabyne last year, the group’s highly anticipated tour was set to line up with the release of their latest album, Toast To Our Differences, which dropped last week.
However, with just over a week until the shows were set to take place, Rudimental have revealed that their first full tour since 2016 has now been pushed back from February until May.
Can't believe we have to say this, but we've had to reschedule some dates for the Australian tour… We're so sorry BUT Australia we're still coming for you! 💪🏾💪🏽💪🏼💪🏻 We've added the insanely talented @snkysndsystm to make it up to you guys 🔥 https://t.co/qesCMIUm9N pic.twitter.com/BSOLMzr0MG

However, in an attempt to make it up to any disappointed fans, Rudimental also announced that they’ll be adding Sydney electropop icons Sneaky Sound System to the lineup as well.
“To our Aussie fans – we’re so sorry we have had to reschedule our trip down under, but we’re excited to see you later in the year – and to be bringing our friends Sneaky Sound System along, too,” they explained. “It’s going to be a serious party!”
Of course, any fans who purchased tickets to Rudimental’s upcoming tour are being advised to hold onto them, since they’ll still be valid for the new shows. However, if you’re unable to make the rescheduled dates, you can grab a refund from your point of purchase.
