Beyoncé has just announced that she will be joining forces with Adidas on a new collaboration. Beyoncé will design footwear and apparel for the brand. She will also be the face of a brand new “purpose-driven program focused on empowering and enabling the next generation of athletes, creators and leaders.”

Beyoncé will also relaunch her athleisure label Ivy Park.

“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé shared in a statement. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”

Ivy Park was launched in 2016 and co-founded with Topshop owner Philip Green. In October 2018, sexual and racial harassment allegations were made against Green. Beyoncé acquired full ownership of Ivy Park in November 2018.

Adidas has a rich history of collaborating with musicians. The brand with the three stripes has collaborated with the most significant names in music, including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, The Stone Roses, Rita Ora and more.
