ARC, a collective made up of Australian rock legends Kram of Spiderbait, Mark Wilson of Jet, Davey Lane of You Am I and Darren Middleton of Powderfinger, have extended their highly-anticipated Abbey Road Live tour.
The band are set to play three brand spanking new shows in Newcastle, Wollongong and The Gold Coast. The show’s will celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Beatles iconic record, Abbey Road.
ARC will perform two huge sets comprised of a selection of cuts from The Beatles extensive catalogue. The first set will see the band perform Abbey Road in its entirety, whilst the second set will feature other fan favourites.
“So when I was in high school, a teacher gave me a couple of tapes – one was Abbey Road and I was pretty much hooked from that moment. The Beatles made me want to sing and write songs and write really varied music you know”, shared Kram.
“I know we’re doing this record as the 50th-anniversary celebration but I still listen to this record all the time. It’s weird. Not many artforms accrue such an incredible reputation like this. That’s one of the things I love about it, you can listen to the same thing over and over.”
