50 Cent has launched a tirade on Instagram over poker player and film producer Randall Emmett.
If you’re not sure who Emmett is you’ll be quickly forgiven because that means one of two things: You don’t follow high stakes poker tournaments and high stakes cash games, or you don’t watch reality show succubus Vanderpump Rules.
50 has told his more than 23 million Instagram followers that Emmett owes him US$1 million and that his fiancée and Vanderpump Rules cast member Lala Kent have been talking behind his back to Us Weekly.
The rapper, producer, and Power cast member has given Emmett until tomorrow to pay back what is reportedly an unpaid loan from six years ago. 50 Cent even changed Emmett’s Wikipedia page (because, you know, anyone can do that) to include the line:
The Wikipedia page has since been updated to have that line removed.
The heart attack Fifty is referring to in the Wikipedia page stems from a photo Emmett sent him from the hospital. Emmett had a stress test to see if he was suffering from a heart attack.
50 Cent is using his social media following to chase his money
50 Cent has told his followers that Emmett has sent him $250,000 of the $1 million that is owed. However, he’s still chasing his money by tomorrow.
“@randallemmettfilms sent me 250k today but I want all my money Monday f**k that,” he wrote on Instagram.
At least one good thing has come out of this whole mess. Emmett’s typo where he misspelled Fifty as fofty in his text message to him has been turned into a hashtag that is now trending. #fofty has even become a meme on Poker Twitter.
