Damn, Australia really loves its British glam rock revivalists…. Due to overwhelming demand, The Struts have announced a second Melbourne show at The Corner Hotel on Thursday August 22.
The band are set are headed to Australia this August in celebration of their 2018 full-length Young & Dangerous, out now via US label Interscope.
Having opening for legends like The Rolling Stones, The Who, Guns’n’Roses, Foo Fighters and Motley Crue early on in their career, The Struts were destined to win over audiences with their own brand of unapologetic rock.
The band are set to play shows at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, Sydney’s Factory Theatre, and Brisbane’s The Triffid. Tickets for the second Melbourne show go on sale at 11am on Friday 10 May.
With future rock anthems ‘Body Talks’, ‘Could Have Been Me’ and recent single ‘In Love With A Camera’ clocking up views and streams the world over, it’s any wonder Australia is all about The Struts right now. We have a feeling their last visit could have something to do with that too.
The Struts were recently been in Australia as support for Greta Van Fleet in January when they won over a whole legion of fans with their stage show. The band even added their own surprise headline shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
The Struts – ‘Could Have Been Me’
For those who like a bit of philanthropy with their rock ‘n’ roll, The Struts have partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will go to Beyond Blue.
