Three men have been arrested for allegedly stealing three guitars belonging to Lamb of God.
3TV has reported that 62-year-old William Widener, 51-year-old Michael Blakeslee and 34-year-old were arrested on May 8th in connection to the theft. All three men have been charged with theft and trafficking stolen property.
The guitars were stolen from the band’s trailer on Thursday, May 2nd in Phoenix. Lamb Of God were in town to play a gig at Phoenix’s Ak-Chin Pavilion as the support act for Slayer.
On May 5th, guitarist Willie Adler’s “Warbird” guitar was reportedly spotted on OfferUp by someone going under the username “Clash Within.” Another was reportedly turned away from a pawn shop
When Lamb Of God first discovered that their instruments had been stolen, Adler took to social media to condemn those responsible.
“ATTENTION ALL…and particularly in the Phoenix area,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “My main beloved Warbird, along with @jayceerva one of kind hand painted bass; were stolen early Thursday morning from @akchin.pavilion in Phoenix. The pieces of shit that did this are suspected to be employed by @akchin.pavilion. local hands that were working Wednesday, our tour production day. Apparently, they waited around for all to leave, and made their way into the back of our semi to commit this felony. AGAIN..under the watch of @akchin.pavilion and their security. Karma is a fuckin bitch…”

Back in March, Lamb Of God frontman, Randy Blythe hit back at the Westboro Baptist Church, confronting the controversial organisation with kazoos. Blythe took to Instagram to call upon “freaks, weirdos, misfits, & regular people of good conscious” to join him in a “counter-party” against the church.
