I can’t explain it, but something about famous parents doing normal things with their kids strikes a chord. Especially if the famous parent in question is ultimate movie-dad Adam Sandler.

Footage has emerged of Adam Sandler and his two daughters performing a cover of Taylor Swift track ‘Lover’, and I think it just added five years onto my life.

Following the premiere of Sandler’s most recent film, the Safdie Brother’s Uncut Gems, the actor took his daughters — 10-year-old Sunny and 13-year-old Sadie — to watch Taylor Swift perform on Saturday Night Live.

Swift’s appearance on SNL saw her perform the Lover title track, as well as deep cut ‘False God’. The following night, the Sandler clan were filmed performing the song at a fundraising event in Malibu. As Consequence of Sound notes, the trio slightly altered Swift’s ballad, changing “Christmas lights” to “Hanukkah lights.” Check out footage of the performance below.

If that didn’t satiate your hunger for celebrities being rad dads, last month rock’s most beloved dad figure Dave Grohl invited the son of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian on stage. During Foo Fighters headline set at Beyond & Bourbon, the Fooeys and Revel Ian rocked out to a performance of ‘Everlong.’

“Proudest dad moment ever?,” Ian shared in a post on  Instagram. “How about when your son gets to join his favorite band on stage to play ‘Everlong’ in front of 40,000 people and NAILS IT! Thank you Dave, Taylor, Pat, Nate, Chris, Rami, Gus, Kerwin, Sean, Patrick, Simone and everyone else on the Foo crew for being the best!!!
