Pretty much every note Joy Division recorded or played live has been released in one form or another, yet the powers that be have managed to find yet another way of extracting some more cash from fans. A new box set of seven inch singles has been compiled by respected music writer and Joy Division fan Jon Savage, with remastering overseen by drummer Stephen Morris and new artwork created by long time band collaborator Peter Saville. Entitled +/- , the set features 10 seven inches in a limited run of 5,000 copies, while 500 of them will carry individually numbered artwork by Saville. The set will also be released digitally via iTunes and if you stump up for the seven inch edition, you get a digital copy thrown in. Check out www.rhino.co.uk for more details.
