Guns N’ Roses surprised fans with a deep cut during their Not in This Lifetime show on Wednesday night.

During their performance at Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena, the band whipped out Use Your Illusion I deep cut ‘Dead Horse’ for the first time since 1993. It was a truly monolithic affair. In other news, Guns N’ Roses recently brought the hammer down on a longtime fan, banning him from their live shows for life.

The drama unfurled during the band’s gig in Kansas. One hardcore fan, Rick Dunsford, has garnered a rep over the years. A frequent poster over at the band’s online forums, with an unmatched skill for tracking down as much hard-to-find stuff as possible.

A while ago, a number of demos from the Chinese Democracy era of the band began to leak online. As it turned out, Dunsford had reportedly purchased a 19-disc collection of these demos, leading people to assume was he who had actually leaked them.

As Dunford arrived at GN’R’s Wichita, Kansas gig, he was plucked from the line and informed he had been banned for life.

The fan took to Facebook Live to share his version of the story:

“So today I flew out to Wichita, KS to see my favorite band Guns N’ Roses!” he began. “Today would be my 33rd time seeing them!

“Well I was just pulled from the line and told if I ever come to a Guns N’ Roses show again that I’ll be arrested! I was gonna escorted off the property and told I’m done.”

The band are yet to release an official statement acknowledging their decision to remove Dunford from all future shows.
